Through using techniques such as mindfulness, mantras, and objects of focus, we develop attention and awareness. Being mindful of our yogic practice is meditation - doing the dishes is meditation, as is walking. When we constantly bring our mind back to the present moment, we create awareness of self, others and surroundings, which decreases stress and suffering.


Meditation is a way to quiet the mind and open the heart.
